Annie Morton is an American photographer and photojournalist. Through her work in portraiture and documentary photography, her unique experience and sensibilities come to light.

Born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1970, Annie had been experimenting with photography throughout her early adulthood, when she began modeling at the age of 18. This opportunity allowed her to collaborate with some of the most important creatives of the late 20th century—photographers such as Paolo Roversi, Peter Lindbergh, Richard Avedon, Steven Klein, Albert Watson, and Annie Leibovitz, along with the highest level of producers, stylists, art and creative directors in the fashion industry. Even when Annie was working in front of the camera, her sensibility to the creative process was recognizable.

After the birth of her son in 2009, Annie turned her focus back onto the life around her, and began to develop her photography at a deeper level. Working mainly in black and white, she focuses on the humanity all around her—from everyday life on the boardwalk, to political rallies, to intimate moments with family—her sense of empathy and aesthetics is always apparent. Master of photography Peter Lindbergh, after seeing Annie’s new work for the first time, understandably called her documentary images “sensational,” declaring that they “could very much inspire you.”

Her recent projects include many photojournalistic series for The Culture Crush, to which she is a frequent contributor, and a cover feature in Love Magazine photographing actress Sienna Miller. Whether in the studio or out in the streets, Annie continues to perfect her craft as both an artist and creative activist. She enrolled in Savannah College of Art and Design in 2018 and is currently pursuing a BFA in photography.
